Develop instrument data acquisition software for custom instruments that
implement sophisticated test protocols with interfaces to a remote Oracle
database using the NI Database Connectivity Toolkit. Candidates should
possess at least three years of LabVIEW development experience including
user interface customization and database integration. This position
will work closely with senior LabVIEW application developer(s) and other
engineering staff in a team environment.
Only candidates who can work onsite will be considered. The
ideal candidate must be a quick learner, highly motivated, able to work in a
highly cross disciplinary environment and require minimal supervision to
stay on task.
Degree Requirements: BS in electrical, mechanical, or software
engineering from an ABET accredited school
Desired Additional Skills: Biomedical instrumentation
(hardware/software), embedded system development, embedded file system
integration, motion
control/instrumentation experience
5-10 years of directly applicable LabVIEW customization & database
integration and associates degree may be considered in lieu of of 4 year
degree.
